A StoryBrand BrandScript is a 7-step tool for working through the StoryBrand framework.

The 7-parts of the BrandScript are:

  • Meets A Guide
  • That Has A Plan
  • And Calls Them To Action
  • That Ends In Success
  • That Helps Them Avoid Failure

One-liner

A StoryBrand one-liner is 2-3 sentences that clearly articulate your StoryBrand BrandScript.

It addresses the problem and solution for your character.

Example for HealthyDads.com: ​​Being a good dad can feel draining. Especially when you are giving from an empty tank. At Healthy Dads, we help fill your tank with community, courses, and content so that you can show up every day with something to give.

Brand Narrative

A StoryBrand Brand Narrative is a mad libs style, fill-in-the-blank exercise putting all of the parts and pieces of your BrandScript into a paragraph form.

Website Wireframe

A StoryBrand Website Wireframe is used on your website homepage to walk a user through your StoryBrand BrandScript.

The website wireframe includes the following:

  • Navigation
  • Header
  • Problem
  • Solution
  • Guide
  • Plan
  • Junk Drawer

Lead Generator

A StoryBrand Lead Generator is a quick-win solution for users to download in exchange for their email address.

Examples include: checklist, playbook, worksheet, video series, etc.

Once a user downloads the lead generator, they get added to your email nurture sequence.

Email Nurture Sequence

A StoryBrand Email Nurture Sequence is a series of emails that helps educate your users and points them to a specific call to action.

  • Email #1: Give them their lead magnet.
  • Email #2: Give them another lead magnet that ties into the first lead magnet.
  • Email #3: Talk about the problem and solution.
  • Email #4: Position yourself as the guide.
  • Email #5: Sell.

Email Sales Sequence

A StoryBrand Sales Nurture Sequence is a series of emails similar to the nurture sequence, but this sequence is specific to selling a particular product.

  • Email #1: Give them their lead magnet.

  • Email #3: Talk about the problem and solution your product solves.
  • Email #4: Testimonial.
  • Email #5: Sell.
